Ran into work this morning. Not too bad of a run. Only had to throw my water bottle at one car, everyone else was paying attention.
Ok, run home wasn't exciting but was a little cool. Still not too bad. Felt better than I thought I would. | Comments(2) |

| Had big plans to run about 6 on the trails after work. They were so sloppy and slushy that I ended up walking a good protion of the 2 miles I did do. Oh well. | Add Comment |

| Ahh, lovely day for a trail run. Had about 30 show up for the last Buffalo Run training run on the island. Perfect. mid 40's, slight breeze. All sorts of people were out there. Maybe 75 horses on the trail, lots of mountain bikers, hikers, etc. Three weeks to race day. | Comments(5) |

Ran into work this morning. Not a good run either. Ever have those days where the run is just tedious and slow, you aren't 100%, maybe not even 90% but you're not sick, just blah. Well, this was one of those mornings. So, needless to say I'm not looking forward to the run home. At least I'll be taking the train half way.
The run home was better but still not great. I'm pretty sure I've blown any chance of a decent time at tomorrow's Striders 10 mile race with the 20 I did today. Back to backs are good training for running when you're really tired and the legs feel like lead. We'll see how tomorrow's race goes. | Add Comment |

| Not too bad a race. Don't have the splits since my Garmin refused to lock on to any satellites. Actually felt pretty good. Thought I went out easier than I did at the 10K but my splits for the first 4 miles were the same. My time was 2 minutes faster than when I ran it two years ago, so I'm happy with that. | Comments(1) |

| Ran in to work. Unremarkable. Still dark when I finally got there but I started a little early, around 4:45am. The run home was a little iffy. I didn't feel real good, light headed. I tried to call my wife to just come and pick me up but she never asnwered her phone, so I ended up running all the way home anyway. Oh well, good practice in perseverence. | Add Comment |

| Dang, felt good to get back out after a week off. Took the week off to get all the preparations done for the Buffalo Run last Saturday. The race turned out pretty good again. 500+ happy runners and one happy race director. For the second year it's the largest trail running event in the state of Utah. | Add Comment |
