I was dreading having to use the 'mill tonight and was saved.  Halleluah!  One of our Engineers from Mississippi was wanting to do a little trail run after work in the full moonlight.  I called a friend and the three of us did 6 miles on the BST above Ogden with the last two mile headlamps off and just going by moonlight.  It was awesome and beat the crap out of doing the 'mill.

Nice job. The trails are still in, for sure. I wanted to hit the Millcreek Pipeline trail this morning, but I was up in the middle of the night with a child and then I got scared I was going to get eaten by a mountain lion. I opted for sleep instead and will now have to run on the JRP during work.

Which part of Mississippi are they from? Army ERDC in Vicksburg? Stennis Space Center on the coast? Just curious (I'm originally from MS)

Hey Jim, Must have just missed you guys out there tonight . .noticed you are signed up for the Chimera 100k also. It will be nice to have another Ogden area runner there. It's great to have the trail is such good shape this late in the year.

Hey Bryce,

Yep, doing Chimera. Karl Meltzer's doing the 100 mile. Guess he's looking for one more 100 mile win for the year. I also noticed another SLC that I know running the 100k. When we were out running Wed. we did notice another headlamp south by Rainbow Garden, but as we headed back to there, we never came across the owner. Maybe that was you we saw.

Nevels, ATK (my company) has a plant in Iuka, MS. NE part of the state. We're currently developing a commercial aircrat program that will be transitioned to that plant in the next couple of years. Hence why we had an Engineer from there here.
